Has anyone received and email from TUI yet for the digital interview?

Does anyone know why the requirement for zero flight time type rating? Is it just to save the cost of base training? If they want experience, why not just give a minimum hour requirement?

What are the current salary scales at TUI now?

Certainly cost savings. A simple hours requirement doesn't necessarily cover the pre-requisites for ZFTT though.

What's more interesting is that TUI are also listing positions for Military pilots, fixed wing or rotary! Well that's definitely not ZFTT, so they are willing to spend in that regard. I'm guessing that much faith is put into the ex-mil guys regardless of experience.

Nothing yet - I know one guy who said he got an invite to assessment within a few days, it's been 4 days since I did the interview.

Anybody knows something about the Ab initio program of TUI?
It is more like NTR FO or like NTR SO?

Have heard a rumour that TUI have now cancelled their experienced pilot NTR recruitment as they are reevaluating their Summer 23 schedule. Have heard several people with assessment days booked in Jan have had them put on hold by the company whilst they reassess their 2023 flying programme.

Hope this is the correct thread

What format do these automated online interviews take?

Not for me (check my age ) but I have done non-aviation related ones.

First online test passed

Could anyone share an insight into the recruitment process at TUI? I hear there's a group exercise, tech exam and interview. Please drop me a message if you have any information, thanks in advance!

I was told that I would automatically be invited again whenever they want to recruit again.

Hi, have just been invited to TUI’s digital interview. Can someone explain what is expected (time length, how many questions, etc), please. Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I received a few days ago a negative answer from TUI for the ab initio offer saying:
"We had considerable interest in the role and the quality of applicants has been extremely high. I am sorry to advise that we won’t be progressing your application further, as there are other candidates who are a closer match at this stage."

I really don't understand why, cause I know some colleagues who did the exact same school as me and who applied at the same dates who got invited for the assessments. Did anyone get the same answer ? It's really depressing

I converted my Canadian ATPL to an EASA (unfrozen) ATPL and I applied to this offer too: rejected. Not even an online assessment or a call. I guess they may have already their pool or maybe they prefer people living closer than others...? Mystery.
