Hi all

Recently I spotted the NOTAM for testing on the North Approach frequency of 135.0, there is certainly a desk for it separate to FIN and APC S, and always was in the old building too. However, I have never ever known it used. Can someone clarify if they’ve known all three positions to be manned at the same time in the recent past? Pure curiosity. Cheers!

I don't know about manning for Manchester Approach and Radar but I would be interested to know how 135.00 mhz fares technically. The Leeds Radar frequency is 134.580 and, as far as I can tell, has suffered from white noise interference for some years. I don't think it's an issue with LBA's radio equipment but rather general interference in that section of the airband.
