Discussions on other forums have ATC comms, it sounds like the plane was in visual conditions prior to landing just before the accident, no distress calls made by the pilots.

Discussions on other forums have ATC comms, it sounds like the plane was in visual conditions prior to landing just before the accident, no distress calls made by the pilots.

LNAV MDA is 1240’ MSL according to the approach plate which equals 383 AGL.
They should have seen the field from about 3 miles out when breaking out of cloud.
The crash location is apparently also about 3NM from the airport.
Tailplane icing possibly?
