Hi All, I'm struggling to find the meanings of the abbreviations JDS and JIT in a pilot's logbook. I'm guessing that the 'J' stands for Jetstream but this could well be wrong. Can anyone help me please? Thanks, Andrew

The JIT was a full nose and cockpit for instrument flying training / practice. IIRC it derived from the aircraft (XX477) that crashed at Little Rissington in November 1974.

The JDS was a full 3-axis simulator. IIRC the visuals were night time only.
