After a year of job hunting, I have finally signed on the dotted line. My advice to any wannabe is keep your chin up and be determined in getting your goal, it will come. I would also like to say a public thankyou to WYSIWYG for all his help and advice over the last six months, cheers pal.

Cheers guys and girls,
I had around 800 hours with 100 multi and the MCC. The aircraft is a Sabb 340, can't wait to get my hands on it.
Thanks again

Excellent news SkyCruiser.
? How did you get the interview. I've got 1100+ hrs all the bells and whistles including a shorts 360 rating, but only 50 multi. Do you think the multi time makes a difference ? any ideas. I've been applying now for nearly a year and 'am rapidly running out of stamps. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/confused.gif

Aw shucks, cheers mate!
Seriously though, SkyCruisers success has largely been proportional to the effort he has applied.

Sky cruiser-
I know how it feels. After 15 months of searching I started with an airline late last year with all the ground school etc..
Today I completed the base check (circuits)on the ATP.I loved every **cking minute of it .It was worth all the hard work.
Good luck and most of all ENJOY.

Well done mate - I would like those of you to know that think you need 1000hrs to get a job that you couldn't be more wrong. I got a job with 202 hrs, on a DHC-8.
Good Luck and keep trying.
