AMS - Luggage loss, any better?

Doing a return trip ABZ - CDG in a couple of weeks which is a regular thing, normally use BA via BHX or LHR/LGW but for some reason this time going KLM via AMS.

Have heard many horror stories recently regarding lost baggage at AMS recently (and suffered same problem last year ABZ - AMS - MRS), anyone know if the problem has improved?

No it hasn't - and it's not likely to in the near or even distant future. SPL staff are fed up with it and have themselves been complaining about it for years but to no avail.
