Hello all,

like many I’m sure, I applied to Jet2.com as a NTR FO on the day they opened. I’ve heard they’ve received thousands of applications which doesn’t surprise me.

Just wondering if anyone here has heard anything since or wants to share any updates etc?

Interesting. I also applied on the 1st yet haven’t reached the ‘under review’ stage

So has anyone heard anything yet from Jet2, since applying ?. I applied on the 3rd June and heard nothing from them yet. If you go into the candidate portal all I get is application received on the application progress page.

Glad I'm not the only one! I also applied on the 3rd and my progress page hasn't moved either. I have no doubt they've been flooded with applications, but I'm unsure whether or not they actively return negative responses if that's their decision.

Same as myself. Applied as NTR on June 3rd and application still on the first stage, "Applied".

I just recieved a rejection from the type rated 737 position. I wonder what they're looking for, since I met all the requirements.

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps they just filled all the positions they're looking for currently.

So has anyone who applied who is non type rated heard anything yet ?, even though I applied at the beginning of June when the recruitment opened, on my status in the recruitment portal it still says application received, and we will be in touch with you shortly and nothing else.

I return to this thread on a daily basis more or less, to see if anyone has received feedback on their application either way.

My non type rated application also remains unwaveringly at the first stage.

Does anyone happen to know which bases the A321s will be stationed? I'm hoping for a Birmingham base but can't find any info on it. Cheers!

So has anybody heard anything from Jet 2 since applying ?, I keep checking my on line account and all it says on the progress page page is applied and it’s been like that since I applied on the 2nd June. So the question is are they actually recruiting or are they just collecting CV’s.

apparently looking for 120 pilots, mainly F/O’s possibly a few DEC once all internal command upgrade applications have been processed. Exception to the DEC thing maybe type rated Airbus TRI / TRE. Also about 40 pilot apprentice positions but there have been a lot of internal applicants for those. They say that they don’t necessarily prefer type rated applicants for f/o positions, but rumour is that there are a lot of current 737 and Airbus applicants so if you’re applying for an NTR position it may be a bit of a wait before they get to you…

What’s the source for this? Mainly for the pilot apprentices?

Email received today with assurance that my June application is still live and under consideration, with further updates to be expected within the next 3-4 weeks (non type rated FO) as the Summer 2023 requirements develop.
