Any sensible pilot considering CX would do well to ignore the totally inaccurate vindictive rubbish continually posted on FH by the 4 or 5 deluded individuals who's sole aim is to damage the reputation of the airline.

The current contract will only ever be competitive if CX is running a full schedule. At the moment it is running at less than 10%.
Whatever salary figure CX quote at you will be unachievable for a least the next two years. You will be hired, in essence, to help rebuild the airline and you will be doing so at a very much lower salary than quoted.

Do your homework on the actual productivity pay achieved by the average FO at the moment. Do your homework on the current quarantine regulations that apply to CX pilots in HK and abroad.
And whatever you do, do your homework on the costs of rental and schooling in HK.

Just to give you an idea, CX lost 32 experienced pilots to Emirates in one day, last Thursday. And they didn’t leave because they swallowed Pprune rumours hook, line and sinker.
