A missile launch was reportedly filmed from a CX 777 over the South China Sea.

Video has emerged on social media that is said to show an apparent launch of a missile, possibly from a submarine, as viewed from a Cathay Pacific Boeing 777 flying over the South China Sea. Unseen individuals can be heard in the clip talking about whether it is heading their way.

I cannot post the link. A web search will produce the story.

Certainly too close for comfort.
Does North Korea have subs with missile launch capacity?

Well if Russia tested such systems last month in the Sea of Japan, it would not be so surprising if the Chinese were to try one out.

Whoever did it it was certainly reckless to have an airliner in vicinity.
