Hi guys! I'm grateful that you're looking for my topic and I'm looking forward to getting the visible answer!

I am planning to take the ground exam of ATPL for my future career in HKG.

After my researches, I have 2 ways to do it.

Firstly, I wish to take the EASA ATPL ground exam in KL and convert to HK ATPL later, but it requires PPL + completion of ATPL course in an approval ground school.

Secondly, I directly take the HKCAD ATPL ground exam in Parafield CAAi from ASPEQ. (I don't know the exact pre-requisites)

However, I cannot find any available date of exam to sign up on the website.

Anyone could give me some advises on how could I sit in the ground exam of HK ATPL. I'm thankful for your help!

Why not call someone in Parafield? it is easier to convert your licence with a type rating than it is to start from scratch.

Are you talking about not having a licence and doing your theory training first? Check with the CAD to see If they even allow this.

HI Rie
Thanks for your reply.

After my researches, I have no idea how could I take the exam of HK ATPL without any background, so I decide to enroll the EASA remote ground school offered by L3 / Bristol in order to sit the ATPL exams.
