I can honestly say I've never experienced excessive vibrations in a KA-52.

Lots of ideas in that article but the first thing that came to mind for me is the Russians just aren't taking the time to do a proper track and balance of the rotor system in order to get the asset in the fight.

Watched the video and the actual helicopter doesn't appear to be shaking just the weapons pods. Are they designed to be dumped if the need arises?
