Hello all.

Question from a lowtimer; I got a National CPL(Norway issued CPL), and when I see some airliner/Recruiters state that they want their national issued CPL. For example, applying to a Swedish company, they seem to want to convert my Norwegian Issued license into a swedish one. Is this normal? And is this temporary, can i change back to Norwegian CPL for example after or? How does this work? Please enlighten me :O

It is normal. Often the respective training department knows exactly what a particular NAA wants paper work wise and/or their TRE/TRIs are licenced by them. Hence it's easier and simpler to deal with one NAA versus a raft of them.
Are both EASA? I think they are. If so, you can only hold "one" of them at a time. When you no longer need the Swedish one, you can change it back to a Norwegian one.

Ah but if Swexit or Nexit happens, then the OP can have both :D

I am in the process of regaining my UK ATPL after "SOLI-ing" it to a NL, therefore EASA one.
I still have my Aus ATPL but the medical is loooooong overdue. :)
