Would anyone happen to know what type of propeller driven aircraft were flying out of Luton between 1970 and 1972?

Put that question into https://www.pprune.org/aviation-history-nostalgia-86/ as there is a Luton thread there if you do a search.

If you mean airliners, mainly Britannias (Monarch, Redcoat, etc) and Invicta Vanguards. The odd Aer Turas CL-44, Balair DC-6, BMA Viscount & F27. On the freight side CV580, Shorts 330/360.
In terms of lighter aircraft, a much wider variety ranging from Fournier RF-4s and C150s up to DH Doves and Bandits.
