Poor old Auntie (ABC Website https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-21/china-eastern-airlines-passenger-jet-accident/100928004) has a picture of a A350 but claim it is a B738. Should have asked GT.

Aaaand they've wheeled out GT, who of course knows exactly what happened. Pilot suicide according to him.

He also stated all pax would have been unconscious due to the g forces. Maybe my understanding of physics differs from his.

There are differing reports on whether it levelled out at 500' and climbed to 1500' before diving in. To level out from a 30,000 fpm descent would take some G, but as soon as the force is released, the blackout/greyout stops.

But that final video doesn't look like a drop from 1500' to me.

Charlie the 738 is rated to 2.5g, the wings would fold long before anyone blacked out (at around 5g)
