By Malaysian standards that is a worm

It probably snuck onboard on a turn-round. In Malaysia, Indonesia, and the like, snakes are everywhere. They love the warmth of engines, freshly-heated undercarriage wheels and brakes, and of course cabins. Tricky business on a walk-round in the dark.

Genuine question Roy. Why would snakes be seeking warmth in the tropics ?

Can certainly understand walk arounds in the dark, even Singapore has cobras, pythons, monitor lizards :)

It's all relative.

As soon as you get an overcast day and the temperature drops below 28 deg C all the local motorcycle riders are into Parkas with fur lined collars

Was discussing with my wife as our flight taxied to the terminal at Suvarnabhumi, how when visiting Thailand we always seem to run into a snake (or snakes) somewhere in our travels..... hotel grounds, hotel room, parks, tourist spots, you name it.
"Like that one" she said, pointing to the 3M+ cobra crossing the water-filled drainage ditch.
Hadn't even got as as far as the terminal that time.
