Large scale civilian police raid - 6 x cars and 4 x vans - after a tip off.

30 x personnel tested positive on swab.

Awaiting results of urine tests.

Well, Wattisham is worse than when the RAF was there, so drugs will help, especially if you’re in some of the sub-sub-sub-standard accommodation on camp.

I’m told one of the first things the Army did when they took over was rip out the single man rooms in the barrack blocks. Apparently soldiers like to share rooms, preferably with at least 3 other people.

I read somewhere in the blurb about Slam accomodation that it was preferred in the Army because it instills a squad mentality if you live and breath with your own squad mates. Hence they cluster them together in multi room dorms.

As the report says, a lot could have been passed by touching door handles used by those using drugs, hence the pee in a bottle.
