Just heard that PDG is the next company to get involved - providing their old 365N2 to carry out the Scilly Shuttle routing.
Passenger numbers must be low when you consider Class 1 departure with mandated fuel reserves!
Or, has a magical dispensation for Class 2 ops been approved?
Or, is this just a crazy rumour?

I thought it was Sloane with an AW139?

I thought it was Sloane with an AW139?

G-PDGO has been shuttling to the Scillies today, and is registered to PDG, so the OP seems to be correct.

Bristow recently stood in on the service with their AW189 while (I think) Sloane’s 139 was on maintenance, so I guess this may be something similar?

They must be burning more fuel on positioning than flying the actual route !

Didn’t Halo have 109? East mids were there quite a lot and I think GB featured also. Cardinal 76 also from Blackpool. Is there anyone who hasn’t been?

Sloane were operating the Starspeed 92 and a 109 last year while they were waiting for their 139 - St Marys objected to the S92 noise so it only did the Tresco run, I came back in the 109 last year and there were only 4 of us pax on board so economically that must have been at best break-even.

I think they had a 139 coming from China which then fell through so sourcing another may be a reason for delay in providing a full service with it.
