For years now, I have used the normally excellent app, FR24. I find it both useful and entertaining.
For the last few months it has been regularly supplying wildly incorrect ALT readings from all over the place.
I originally reported to the FR24 people months ago, but nothing has changed.
A couple of days ago, I tried again, sending screenshots taken of different aircraft in different geographical locations, over a period of a few minutes.
FR24 replied by saying that the have never heard of this problem from anyone else and asked me to uninstall/reinstall the App.
This advice of course took me full circle as in my original correspondence, I explained that this had been my first course of action !
Has anyone else experienced anything similar.
I am using a fully updated Samsung A51.
Here is a sample screenshot from a selection of many !

Are you a subscriber, or do you use it for free ? It might be an encouragement to either purchase, or upgrade. Does it work ok on you laptop/desktop/tablet etc ? Does it work ok when using the wifi of another establishment whilst using your phone ?

Long term subscriber, so not the issue.
Readouts are spot-on, on my PC.
Inaccuracies on my phone appear on both wifi and 4g !
Phone and App fully updated !

edited to add :- Works fine on my Samsung Tablet but same issue arises on my older Samsung S7 phone.

I've seen a couple of strange things. Like a PA28 flying at 200+ knots. Weird!

Do not get too excited
Just watching LS309 doing a base leg at ACE at an altitude of 61,840ft !!
Missed Approach ? 😝

...Tiger Moths at 69000', etc, all sort of anomalies on the three sites I look at regularly.

Had an RYR inbound to ACE at 126,436ft !
Thought perhaps O'Leary was trying to hook up with the Branson and Bezos efforts !

I did see a NASA B-57 at 50+ which I was more inclined to believe!

I first brought this false altitude problem to their attention in May of this year, at which point they said that they would look into it. Nothing of course happened. I have been in touch with them several times since. The keep asking for screen shots which I duly send. They have also asked me which phone I use. I explained that I have 2 different models of Samsung on which the fault occurs.
I also pointed out that other such Flight Trackers work fine in both phones.
My recent communication with them returned the reply "our technicians are looking into it "
If that is so, they have been doing so for 5 long months !
Has anyone in Ppruneland using a Samsung Phone ever had such an experience.
It surely cannot just be me ?

In my experience, the FR24 support folks are pretty clueless and get easily confused.

Here's a good example (click on the link for the thread):
