Should this not be two separate checklists? One for too cold cabin and one for too hot cabin. It reads to me the first part of the check list (difference between packs below 10c) mostly refers to a too cold cabin and the second part refers to a too hot cabin. What if the cabin were too cold and the pack outlet temps difference was greater than 10c? Why would I turn off the pack producing hot air if the cabin is too cold? (The explanation below indicates shutting off a pack only refers to a too hot cabin but the checklist isn’t written that way)

My best guess would be this was originally the "ABNORMAL COCKPIT AND CABIN TEMPERATURE" checklist and gave solutions for two abnormals, and the title was changed to "clarify" after a new manager was appointed, leading to your very correct question..... (if yours is anything like my airline)

Interesting. I checked in our QRH and we only have one procedure “Too hot cockpit and cabin temperature in flight”; nothing for cold one. Maybe only apply for very old models. Our oldest model is MSN 1800+.

The new ones have only one procedure for too hot and that too for temperature difference>10°.
