BA 737-200 avionics

Hello,
I wonder if anybody can tell me what avionics were fitted to the BA 737-200's?
Specifically, regarding CIVA, FMS etc?
Just trying to make my flightsimming as realistic as possible to this type in early 1980's...

Hi, welcome along. Can' help myself that much as I'm far from an expert however if you search youtube for a channel called Flightdeck2sim he's a current 737 captain who deos streams usng various different sim aircraft, and has done a few on the -200.

The British Airtours B737 aircraft has Omega and PDCS fitted.

I work from memory and it is a while now.
Most -200s had no FMS. A late 200adv might have one probably Honywell.
Most had a Performance computer probably Honywell.
Autopilot mostly Bendix.
Flight director Collins FD108 or more usually FD109.
Remainder of fit Collins, various units dependent on age and operator preference.
This is an impossible question as the fit varied with age, mod state, operator preference.
If you check Google images B737-200 cockpit you will get a sense of the variation. There is one with a Sperry Flight Director, something I have never seen.

Delco Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System. aka "CIVA".

It was a common inertial navigation system used before adoption of GPS in the 1990's.

CIVA was found on Boeing 707, 727, some 737-100s and -200s, the DC-10, L-1011 Tristar, and on the early 747-100, -200 and -300 variants.

Never heard that - very familiar with Carousel, I havenever seen it on a 737
