Are there any safety equippers here who can tell me the official cleaning/polishing for helmet visors? Is it Greygate polish?
I'm a motorcyclist & have a visor with a damaged anti-mist coating. At £55 a pop for a new one, I'd like to see if I can get it back useable as a spare.
Many thanks.

"I learned about polishing my helmet from that..."

Luckily I had a very understanding safety guy who changed my visor and then removed all the visor polishing kits from the Squadron lines.

Recommend PlastX which I use to keep the polycarbonate windows on my race car looking good:

Wouldn't use Greygate, it'll damage the optical clarity. Years ago we used calotherm and a soft lint free cloth. If you can't get hold of a kit at work then Key Survival Equipment might have a few left. www.key-se.co.uk

Check your aviation and glider suppliers for "canopy cleaning".

Micro Mesh is used for restoration.
