Drove past Hobart airport the other day and saw the new Tasair building/hanger being all painted up
Anyone know what date they start there?
Any guesses why they moved to Hobart "International" Airport away from Cambridge? - Surely Cambridge would be better with training and other single engine ops?

Believe 1 September is the start date for ops at Hobart.
As to what the reasons are, well......:confused: I have heard that they no longer need as large a hanger as they currently lease, now that the Aero Club has left the fold and taken their aircraft with them. There are probably other reasons as well but haven't heard them yet. :) :)

Tassie is still here. Hasn't been enough rain to float away.
Incidentally, believe the move day is now 1 October.:cool:
