There seems to be complete silence in relation to the Airservices proposal to lower Class E airspace on the east coast between Cairns and Melbourne.
Initially the proposal was to bring the airspace predominantly down to 1,500 feet AGL. I understand that was then changed to the latest proposal, which brings the Class E airspace down to 8,500 feet, 6,500 feet or 4,500 feet AMSL (depending on terrain).
All of this was supposed to be introduced in December of this year, but there seems to be silence.
Can anyone give an update?
