Looks like wef 01 July, Garuda Indonesian will no longer serve Perth WA. The 737 service will cease with no indication of return. Sad loss.

Apparently Garuda flights to Oz are booked out until October. A friend was scheduled to fly Perth-Jakarta 1st July:(

I suspect that 'booked out' doesn't mean much when they're restricted to carrying 50 passengers or less inbound to Australia. Without cargo, they'd be operating every flight at a significant loss.

Garuda Booked out till jan 1.All sectors to Australia.
trouble is they have only 5 rooms allocated per week.For the 14 day quarantine in perth.
the only flights to perth are transit cgk than sin to perth on Singapore,.business class only.Max 20 pax. Price $3800 aust on way. From Cgk.
u cant get a seat out of Bali this year.
Garuda failed to pay back a 750m us Islamic Bank bond/loan on Monday.

The above link shows major problems at Garuda, with a 70% reduction in the fleet on the cards. It's quite possible it could become a mainly domestic airline.
