And just when you thought it couldn't get worse in HKG, ORAC has a news item on Jetblast of note.

The Taishan nuclear plant is around 130 km WSW of Hong Kong.

Iodine tablets at the ready, but I thought I would need them for Daya Bay...

Really well designed French reactor which was then built with Chinese characteristics. There’s a trend here but I just can’t put my finger on it.

Finally Hong Kong will have its own Godzilla!

Chinese authorities have stated that radiation levels are ‘normal’.
I’ve seen that one before…

Oh come on.....the CCP will be completely transparent about this, just as they were with the Rona. After all lives might be at stake....😂

Visiting China about ten years ago I was assured by a Chinese member of the university staff that the government can change anything they please.

For example, despite the law that says if temperatures go over 35 degrees, workers must be allowed to go home, the official instrument has never shown such a high measurement.

There is only one thing the CCP cannot change, sadly, and that is what day of the week it is today, he added.
