Good Evening,

If there are any CSR sufferers out there please feel free to DM me. For the last 18 years I have suffered from this eye problem. Last year I went over to the Mayo clinic and they suggested a course of eplenerone. I am pleased to say that I haven’t had an episode of CSR since. I used to suffer from 3-4 episodes per year. This medication changed my life so I thought that I would share it with you.

Hello Constant Speed DU

I too have suffered with CSR and read your message with interest. I see that eplerenone is a diuretic drug and is used as a blood pressure medicine.

My consultant ophthalmologist has never mentioned eplerenone, so I would be delighted to hear more if you would be so kind? Interestingly (for me, anyway) is that he cannot understand why I suffer, considering my age and circumstances.

The next step would be laser treatment to seal the leak but neither of us are particularly keen to proceed.

I look forward to hearing more from you at your leisure.

(I tried private message but no joy).
