That would have given them a headache when the got to the states. Had the USA agriculture lot? Go berserk over swiss snails on our containers in Bangor. Delayed the first stop on ZRH - SFO by an hour; the following week 3 hours and threatened that the following flight would be sent back to Switzerland.

Rabies is endemic in bats found in American, but not in Indian ones. Still, it’s not an animal you’d want in the cabin on any flight.
