Do Draken keep their ejection/egress systems functional?

Yes, they do. They have a full ejection seat/egress systems overhaul shop at their home facility at Lakeland Linder Regional International Airport in Lakeland, Florida.

Regards,
Grog

Salute!

Thanks Grog, and I think the new outfit with all the Vipers will have a lotta experienced and current folks taking care of the ejection seats. And ditto for maintenance folks.

Do Draken F1s have zero zero seats?
Jet appeared to be steeply rolled to starboard - possibly even stalled or on the edge of a stall - assume that spurt of flame was the seat firing - very low - outside envelope?

EDIT: it would seem so:

...and I should add, I'm not in any way implying blame on the pilot, just curious.

The NTSB Preliminary Report was issued on 11 June 2021 - I can't find it anywhere.

According to various press sources, the report didn't go into much detail apart from the fact that the pilot reported a flap issue in the final turn and then declared an emergency.

It has just been reported that Draken have now returned their Mirage F1 fleet to flying after extensive checks.
