Does anyone know if this was a legit landing or something out of the ordinary?

I checked out the video comments on YouTube. One guy posted this:

Lol I never even thought to look at the comments!

So it was military then. Couldn’t tell what it was from the quick passing glance.

Seahawk by the looks of it, nose mounted FLIR and that tail gear is a dead giveaway.

It appears to be on short finals to the Victoria Barracks in Sydney NSW. Short and very draughty finals.

MH-60R I would say. I believe the RAN retired their S-70Bs in 2017.

Neither did I, instead I looked up the business name, Totem Road, on the street corner to identify the location (https://www.google.com/maps/@-33.8845139,151.22422,3a,75y,86.72h,89.85t/data=!3m10!1e1!3m8!1sI72tLpfvwH1GqaXTSyOU6g!2e0!6shttps:%2F% 2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DI72tLpfvwH1Gqa XTSyOU6g%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D1 00%26yaw%3D85.698395%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i 8192!9m2!1b1!2i43), on Oxford Street and Brodie Street, just west of Young Street.

A lot of us have landed in there. Nothing to see, move along.

There is something to see and not move on because this landing lacked the expected “military precision” by blowing chairs and crap onto a road and endangering pedestrians, motorists and property.

I guess it’s too wet to start a bushfire.
