Plenty of interviews happening these days in bcn.
Preference given to rated pilots with experience on type, orherwise the line training would take forever with the low amount of sectors expected in april/may.

Good morning aviators , i did passed my assesment last year but due to covid they stopes hirings , this year they didnt tell me anything , do you know if pilots of previous assessments will be called ?
i know there is still people ho did type rating back in dec 2019 ho where not contacted yet

A person that I know that had done the assessment last year pre covid had to redo the assessment again recently, and is in the middle of OCC now.

cool , i guess that is due to requirements change , as they ask now for 1000hours on type , i am far way from that 😂
perhaps next year or when situation starts to get better for 2023 ....

I guess i did it last year before my assesment ( before corona ) this year i didnt even received a invitation for the assesment, just checked today and the job position is no longer advertised .....

Most of the new hires are in the middle of the conversion course, I am afraid that ship has sailed.

As usual they should hire for next season again, as Volotea is operating with a lot of seasonal pilots for summer season…
pre-COVID the plan was to be at 60 Aircraft for 2022, so plus 23…

that is a bit ambitious, but there will be an expansion, due to the slots they got in Spain from the IAG Airr Europa Deal…

i did pass my assessment in feb 2020 but then due to covid etc only people with more hours wherw hired for last season

Does anyone know the conditions regarding the Fast-track to Command for Rated A320 First Officers in Volotea? Do they assure you by contract that if you exceed the requirements they make you a captain, or is it a trap? Thank you
