Piper PA-31 Navajo Crash 7Apr21 Guayaquil Ecuador

A Piper PA-31 equipped with winglets went down in the shallows of Río Salitre in Guayas province, Ecuador on 7Apr07. The aircraft on a medical transport mission departed Lago Agrio Airport (LGQ/SENL) Ecuador 7Apr21 at 1023 hours. It was scheduled to arrive at José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE/SEGU) in Guayas Province Equador at 1208 hours. Both pilots and four passengers were killed.

Wow.......that's hard to watch. Seemingly totally unnecessary tragic loss. RIP.

To me it sounds like they were already on one engine, which then quit before they stalled and crashed.
