Interesting plans for MCAS Kanoehe Bay with heavy lift helicopter squadron (CH-63E) light attack helo squadron (AH-1Z) to disband/leave the base end of FY2022. This is part of restructuirng of the corps elements however there is also talk of adding a KC-130J unit to K Bay, all in all more emphasis on more trans pacific ops etc.
