Reluctant Houchin 690 GPU

I've been trying to get a Houchin 690 GPU to run that was last serviced 12 months ago and then sat idle and empty. With new batteries it will not start, merely turning over on the starter. Diesel is getting up to the HP filter head but it won't light up. Is there a manual or does anyone know of any trick to getting one to run? Spraying some Easystart/Start-ya-b****d into the air intake gets it to run briefly.

Have you bled the injectors? crack the pipes off until you get a flow to them.

+1 on bleeding the injectors.

Loosen the nut holding the high pressure pipe onto each injector - but don't undo the nut, just loosen it half a turn or so. Then crank the engine and tighten the nut when you get Diesel leaking around the nut. Repeat on all injectors.

Power to the run/shutdown solenoid on the injector pump?
