According to FR24 City Flyer Embraer E190 G-LCYM has, inthe last few days, operated sectors from LCY>SOU, SOU>DSA and then DSA>BOH using JOTA flight numbers callsigns.

Some sort of charter or a new type in the Enzo fleet?

EDIT - A more thorough read of the machine's history shows it operating for JOTA several times in the last month or so. Also, the most recent DSA sequence would appear to be football related as the timings correspond with Southampton's game at Bramhall Lane.

G-LCYM has done another hop from London City to Biggin Hill this morning. What's it up to ?

Then went to BFS with a BA flight number, then positioned back to LCY. Curiosity killed the cat!

Looking at flight radar, one of JOTA's Avro RJs (G-JOTR) hasn't flown in a number of days whilst their other passenger aircraft (they only have 2) has been quite busy over the same period. I'm guessing they have one in maintenance and have subchartered CityFlyer to cover the flying programme. JOTA are quite busy flying football teams around the UK at present.

Just by way of an aside, BA Cityflyer are doing a reasonable number of charters of their own, well in excess of the few operated for JOTA (on JOTA callsigns)

The company have always done charters, but generally these have been a full series on behalf of your operators at weekends. Big difference now being the current spare capacity allows scope for ad-hoc charters, and for these to routinely be planned during the week.
