Salute!

Local news article here, Thot we might reflect on one of the best duos in USAF history of the 'nam years - Black Man and Robin. A TV show of the time was based on the comic strip Batman, but being irreverent fighter pilots, we quickly assigned their team's name, and it was a great team. Think Op Bolo and Olds got some more kills with one of my classmates in back seat.
Olds was the stereotype fighter pilot commander with the moustache and a buncha air-to-air kills, and Chappie was a rising star in the late 60's when we desparately needed examples of what you can achieve regardless of your color.

So from the colonies I send:
Chappie honors namesake Gen. 'Chappie' James on his 101st birthday | WEAR (https://weartv.com/news/local/channel-3s-service-dog-in-training-honors-namesake-gen-chappie-james-on-his-birthday)

There was a story the Pentagon had a photo or bust of Olds in a glass case with a hammer attached and a note saying "In event of war break glass". Wonderful individual.

Fortissimo
