Hi all, unsure if we have any Brisbane ATC on here but how accommodating are they these days with VFR transits from the North with the new runway now operational?
Been many a year since I have done this, but normal process was submit Flight plan, call Brisbane centre on the ground at YRED for a squawk code, give them a call back when airborne, 1500ft to Hornibrook Viaduct, call YBBN tower and get cleared for transit at 1500 to Manly Boat Harbour over the 19 threshold.
is this still the same process or has anything changed? Never had any issue back in the day but thought I would throw it out there before making an arse of it.
Any advice appreciated as always, cheers.
