As a B767 Lauda Captain after landing at Puerta Plata we were then positioned to Santiago in South of island.
All seven cabin crew and us two pilots piled into single engined Cessna Caravan with a single pilot and off we set with CBs banging away through this mountainous area at night.

He got a little close to one and aircraft shook with hail and turbulence making the journey interesting to say the least.

PS mean't this to be on scariest flight post!!

Interesting (I almost wrote astonishng) that Lauda transfers crew in such an irresponsible manner.

I'd never accept a transfer that wasn't in a PerfA turbine aircraft.

I think you will find the Caravan is a gas turbine and approved for PerfA.
