Hi,

Do you know anything about this school and their A320 Type Rating 0 hour First Officer program ?

They have a partnership with an european airline (unknown at this time) and they are conducting a kind of cadet scheme with them.

I sent my CV to the e-mail address given in the advertisement. After a few days I got a reply with 3 questions, e.g. am I able to pay for the TR?. Additionally, They wrote that all information would be given during the interview. Nothing more.

After you fly the 300 hours you are back on the street and another desperate low hour individual takes your place.

At least a few years ago you would pay €50.000 for 500 hours and type, now that has even been reduced to 300:ugh:.

Also understand that during a P2F program the Captain will not make any effort to teach you anything, basically reducing the whole operation to single pilot ops.

I agree,
The only solution to stop this epidemic (and I'm not talking about Covid) is to boycott massively and/or update labour legislation accordingly as we did in France.

Is this something that you think, or is that what they said ?
I'm just asking bacause when I read the advert for this position they mentioned a contract

They propose a 2 year contract based on the following :
- A320 type rating : 30k€
- A320 line training : 35k€
First salary : 1500€ which increases after passing line training / 1000 hours TT
After these 2 years, they pay back.... We all know here that it will never happen
Name of the airline : not communicated

Ahah it's really funny, because I got the interview and they said me a different thing.
I'm already type rated, they wanted 49k€ just for the line training, and permanent contract.
Airline not comunicated as well.

So for the line training there are 3 different prices: I read 30 then 35 and 49 in my case, ridiculous !

49 ! lucky you !
That was a moment.... The two guys looked nice and clever, how can they propose such a  to applicants ?
Anyway... I hope they didn't manage to trap someone

From how I understood is that you have earned as much as you spent on TR and LT after around 2 years. Not that you get the money you invested as a single payment.

Wait a second... 49 k € for 100h LT? this make it 490€ an hour... the highest salaries I know from good times is 200€ for and experienced captain and about 110 € for FO... This mean its not really a job, but a way to make someone cover the rest of the crew's salary and part of the fuel... Looks like a good way to cut loses when the airline have a load facotor of 30%... now i know how they manage to operate those flights without making significant loses.
