Yes, it was one of the better programmes on BBC this Christmas, and made a change from the reviews of the year in royalty, cinema, politics, sport etc etc - and that documentary by Michael Ball on Colonel Tom, or is it Major Tom; I've lost track! I actually learnt something from "the schoolgirl who helped win a world war" documentary.

The BBC website's summary simply says: "The untold story of 13 year old Hazel Hill - and her crucial role in the design of the famous Spitfire and Hurricane fighter planes - in the run up to the Battle of Britain.".

But there's a bit more about her on Wikipedia: Hazel Hill (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazel_Hill).
