Nancy Bird Walton airport’s first landing

Someone had to be first to land at the new airport, but 5 years before the official opening is going a bit far.

Piper Cherokee from Bankstown made a forced landing this morning.

All safe.

So where did they get the blue tarp from? Do they carry one in all of their aircraft for such eventualities?

Doesn't take long to drive one over from Bankstown to Badgery's Creek.
