Looking at applying to get my CPL with TVSA out at Bacchus Marsh, looks like they've recently done a big renovation and refurb across buildings and fleet.
Any past experiences or advice on this school? Doesn't seem to be a lot out there..

I drove past there for a look at the progress 2 weeks ago. The whole place looks like a bomb site.

It does seem to be hard to find any real 'unbiased' opinions. Or I'm bad as google / search.

Did you end up going to TVSA mrc1234? I've seen they have an information evening coming up and thinking of going along to hear what they have to say. I figure it doesn't hurt to start a course, and if its not working out by the time I get to PPL, I can withdraw and change suppliers moving forward, surely not much to lose if I have to complete CPL and instructor courses elsewhere. Only catch I can see is no lighting at Bacchus marsh, so that would have to limit ability to do a Night VFR and IFR condtions would be impossible at "home base" - how often does Bacchus Marsh get fogged in, certainly last few weeks, mornings nearby have been foggy.

They are having a bit of an open day this saturday 28th May. I suggest you come along, talk to their people, eat a BBQ sausage, maybe go for a trial flight , etc
Nothing like a bit of old school face-to-face interaction, to help make one's mind up.
