Flight schools - Portugal - prices

Hey guys !

What is with the price difference in flight schools in Portugal . How can some schools be 20.000 euros more expensive / cheaper than others . That is quite alarming .

Besides looking into what is being offered and the hidden cost and the fleet number and all that .

do you think the school name can affect the pilot chances to stick a job in the future, assuming that he/she have good grades. Knowing that we all get the license from the same authority at the end.

Any thoughts ?

seven air 77.000
IFA ~ 54.000
few other school like awa , Gair , L3 somewhere around that 55.000 mark .

few extra hours here and there on a multi engine , but besides that nothing major in the differences between the courses offered in those schools and we all know that 15 or 39 hrs on multi engine is not gonna a make difference in the job interview .

Im really confused if training On a shiny cessna with a glass cockpit would make a difference in getting a job in the future .

Or there is something that I am missing here ?!

This will help you pass your final test at the first attempt. First time passes are definitely something that will be looked at and might make the difference whether you get invited for an interview or not.

This is not the time though to start flight training. Wait and prices will come down. Then start with a PPL and take it from there.
