A pretty interesting report by The Drive on Iran's underground ballistic missile capabilities, which I can only assume is one more piece in the puzzle for them to acquire a fully capable nuclear arsenal, if they haven't already.

In the highly unlikely event that there's a conflict with Iran, on Iranian soil, how much of a problem will these underground facilities present to commanders in theatre, and do we have the capabilities to properly destroy them from the air? If so, which?

Yeah, let’s talk weapon-to-target matching on an open forum with wannabes. Great suggestion.

Who is this "we" you are speaking about?

As a point of reference: it was tough enough to track down ballistic missiles on trucks. I suggest that you do a bit of searching for Scud Hunting during the Gulf War in 1991 (Operation Desert Storm). There were some interesting papers written about that which are in the public domain.

Well it's not him, that is for sure.

NATO, given that we're the only major power who opposes Iran.

This capability is impressive, but terrifying... :(

The style of rigging cradle and rigging wires does not look fit for purpose . I expect they will have a few incidents underground moving heavy object with that style rigging with no visible quality and safety control that you would expect on wire rigging and cradles .The tunnel curtains would also indicate a possible dust issue or could just be there to disguise the rock formation that would give away location of secret underground bases .
The Persians have a long history of tunneling , usually for peaceful purposes like diverting rivers underground . Not really historically surprising that have gone underground . They may be living underground for a very long time if they launch those fireworks .
Who would be the most likely recipient In range of those fireworks ? The Persian diaspora is scattered in many countries would they irradiate their own emigrants ?

Bidens not even in the Whitehouse yet and the PR machine is gearing up for the next Middle Eastern war.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but NATO isn't a power. NATO is a coalition. When I was in it, there were 16 nations. There are now 30.
Back when Churchill was Prime Minister, or back when Victoria was Queen, the UK was a Power.
In the early 20th century, Germany was A Power.
In the Cold War, the US and the USSR were Powers, and the Five Powers of the World (USSR, UK, US, France, China) got together after WW II and created the UN to (very roughly) try and prevent WW III (given that cock up that was the League of Nations) and to do other things politically. (And this used to really irritate some in the "non-aligned movement" ...)

While NATO, when all of the 'we need to be herded' cats agree on a common purpose, can certainly wield power and influence (I fondly recall the CAOC in Vicenza) they are not "a Power" who oppose Iran. There is no unity of purpose.
Each of the sovereign nations in NATO have their own policies towards Iran. Pay attention here: Turkey is still a NATO ally. So too is Greece. And so too is France. Each has their own policy and historical relationship with Iran (or as some like to call it, Persia)

Suggest you not try and view this like a board game or an RTS. Reality is a lot more complicated. The cat herding was tough enough with 16 nations; with 30 it's likely surreal.

Mohammed may have found a way to move mountains if these things are actually mobile!

Without speaking out of turn in a public forum... in no way is this an actual threat or something difficult to counter.

There are plenty here that seem to have forgotten about how keen and driven they once were. BVRAAM IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE ( unless you are a nobody here). I don’t know the guy, but the loneidiot can’t help himself.
He challenge and probes which you don’t like. He’s not institutionalised, he’s an active and malleable mind. He needs change, you deplore it. One day one will be proven correct.

Ahem:
If you all wish to discuss US politics and its current president, please do so in the Hamsterwheel on JB. You all know where to find it.
Rather than move your posts there, I binned them.
BVRAAM: this is a public warning.
Stay on topic.
