Is there a standard method or definition for turboprop high-speed cruise speeds?
Long Range Cruise speed is that at which the SAR is 99% of the Max Range Cruise SAR,
However, HSC speed does not seem to follow an obvious SAR = x% MRC relationship and is not necessarily the speed achievable at maximum cruise power - the Q400 Fuel efficiency manual shows HSC as different to Max Cruise speed.
Is the highest speed at which a minimum climb requirement (100 or 300fpm)?
