Dear Aviators

How long after an expired LPC is an EASA type rating valid? (Boeing/Airbus f.ex.) And what are the additional training requirements needed after an expired LPC, 1 year since LPC, 2 years since LPC etc ?

All the best.

If you haven't passed an LPC, the rating is valid until the validity date on the licence.

If the rating has expired, you need to pass an LPC after training determined by the ATO, taking into account experience, time since expiry, etc. AMC1 FCL.740(b) is your friend.
