Hey everyone,
I currently hold an EASA CPL MEP/IR and I’m looking on choices to endorse PBN to my licence. My licensing authority has published the exemption until April 2021, so I understand my IR is usable until then (for non-PBN ops ofc).
So, my question is if the pbn qualification is aircraft specific. Let’s imagine I do the pbn course in an approved simulator for example, is it valid for my MEIR? And to keep it valid do I have to be examined on PBN every year when renewing the MEP/IR? I should be doing my PC before August 2021. Should I do the pbn course before that, and then do an IR/PBN proficiency check?
