Can someone explain what the difference is between LAND3 and LAND2 annunciations in a 737NG with fail operational autoland?
I had wrongly assumed that >LAND2< meant a degradation of capability from Fail Operational to Fail Passive, however the QRH states the following...[Fail Operational] Autoland and rollout may be accomplished with either ASA LAND 3 or LAND 2 displayed. There is NO CHANGE to minima with autoland status advisory message NO LAND 3, or ASA LAND 2 displayed.
