Morning, anyone see a pair of FJ at LL heading SW near Halesworth, N Suffolk at 1150 today? Something interesting and I go and miss them! :( How sad such an event is classed as "rare" these days. Oh for the decades long gone. Anyway, just curious. Cheers, H 'n' H

One of them was Typhoon ZK352 from Coningsby...

Cheers Treads, suspected they might have been as deffo not F15s (wrong sound and modus operandi). Not sure if F35s play that sort of LL stuff (or even if any left ashore at Marham) which starts to limit it unless they had been exotic visitors (well, we live in hope!). Shame, as I was just walking out to get back up on my scaffolding again (sorting out gutter sagas @ chez H 'n' H!!!) and I would have had a grand-stand view of the lead from there (and then prolly promptly fallen off trying to see the #2 as it was the other side of the house!!!!). Still, lucky as do get a good smattering of US stuff + Pongo Apaches round here so should not complain and even the Crabs venture into "Injun Territory" occasionally as confirmed by your good self today. No Navy stuff sadly! And deffo slim pickings compared to the 70's and 80's! Anyway, thanks for that! Cheers, H 'n' H
