Hypothetically - I've taxied on stand in Dublin today having avoided the 2 Ryanair ground vehicles parked / abandoned / dumped beside stand 16.

Hypothetically - A Ryanair 737 pulls up on the adjacent stand. Amoungst the millions of passangers who disembark (all of whom are happy I might add) appears to be the King of the Low Fares himself, Michael O'Leary and I think his main sidekick Michael Cawley. Returning no doubt from Today's big Deal in Prestwick.

Do they go through the Terminal - No
Do they go through Customs - Apparantly not
Do they go through Immigration - Apparantly not.

Into one of the abandoned vehicles left between stand 16 & 17 and sugar off in the direction of the White House (Ryanair HQ / mothership).

Sod Aer Rianta's poxy Terminal, this is what point to point low cost travel is all about :

No transitting through terminals
No Immigration
No security
No customs
and the big bonus is being able to park your cark at the stand you're going to arrive on.

Rock on Ryanair's new Terminal - I'm in favour.

A bit off topic but I found O'Leery rather amusing in this item (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/2203519.stm)

The AUC:

"The AUC said it was especially worried about budget airline Ryanair which, it claimed, often displayed a poor attitude towards its customers."

And O'Leery:

"But Ryanair chief executive, Michael O'Leary, dismissed the AUC's findings, claiming it was a "self appointed quango".

This being him displaying a good attitude to his customers complaints. The man's a moron. :)
