I was passing by a country aerodrome where Ag planes are based. To my surprise a flat bed truck was transporting a Jetranger helicopter.
Is this common practice? I would have thought flying the helicopter between spray jobs would be quicker, perhaps not with the spray booms.
I can only imagine this would have been a one person operation for fuelling, loading the spray, flying etc...

Had no wings so it could not fly. A truck is the next best thing.

How do you know the aircraft was flyable?

Very common. Much cheaper to tow on a trailer and if it’s a one man show, he / she will need the truck and all the gear at the site anyway, so may as well drive it there.
